✦ Synopsis
Using a very simple model, it is shown that there ia no direct correlation between the NBLR Line-width transition and the occurrence of torsional frequencies in the IR (e.g. ~4 + V6 in the ammonium halides} and that the presence of IR radiation of the appropriate frequencies should afiect the temperature of the KMR line-width profoundly.
