The temperature dependence of the v4-bending band of the ND4+ .

-ion in (ND4)2Cr207 shows changes at -170°, 140*5. 120*2 and 80*5OK.

From infrared evidence alone it cannot be decided which of the two possible phase-change sequences, discussed in the text, is correct -there seems to be a correktion with the phase transitions -in (NH4)2Cr207.
