✦ Synopsis
Heat capacity measurements of in a copper matrix, in superconducting and normal states, are presented. The dependence of parameters T c. 7 *, ~, O D and e on Ti-concentration for the Nb-Ti system is discussed. The rise of enthalpy A E(A T) at B = 0 and B = 5T is estimated for the cable consisting of 1045 filaments 10 tun in diameter. Based on this dependence, the evaluated magnitude W(I/I c) is compared with the data on the admissible energy release, experimentally obtained during a pulsed bombardment of this cable by high energy particles.
