Abstract
The principles of low frequency induction heating are briefly described and experiments on three small vessels arc recorded. Attention is drawn to the differences in behaviour of mild steel and cast iron. The data obtained are correlated with information given in the literature to assist in the design of other heaters. An example is given of a typical application.
