✦ Synopsis

A gripping psychological thriller about two parents on the brink of collapse after the kidnapping of their only child.

Benny went missing seven months ago. The police have stopped their search. It seems the world has forgotten the spree of child disappearances, the growing town of Willow Brook content to sweep the incident under the rug.

The Holloways haven't forgotten.

Carrie believes her son is still alive, the only missing child not found dead in the woods west of Willow Brook. When she was a little girl, she was taken to the forest by a stranger, but she managed to escape. In that moment, the forest spoke to her. She returns to ask for its assistance once more, returning her son unharmed.

Jake is certain their son is dead. The only thing left to do is exact vengeance on the man that killed him. During the day, he retains a facade, while at night he devises his revenge. Once he identifies the murderer, without the helpless authorities, he's going to conclude the sordid affair with a final act of justice.

In their divergent pursuits, Carrie and Jake begin to fray, discovering the cost of their respective missions may be their lives.
