Abstract

A 0.18‐μm CMOS broadband mixer for ultra‐wideband receivers is presented. A lossy LC ladder is utilized to achieve the broadband impedance match at the RF port. This circuit achieves high conversion gain of 10.4 dB, with 3‐dB bandwidth from 0.3 to 10.9 GHz and low power consumption of 15 mW under 2.5‐V supply voltage. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
