โฆ Synopsis
biochemical species connected by 34 arrows. Othcrwise, the book features a few samplings of large fields such as membrane traffic. This is a field where there are dozens of other similar mcelings, hundreds of papers and many reviews in the journal literature, which is much better suited to this type of fast moving and diverse subject. Few authors would willingly choose this format for primary publication of new data with its yearlong delay to publication and direct reproduction of manuscripts. Much of the material has appeared in the primary literature, and the coverage of this broad field is extremely patchy. I scc no reason to recommend that anyone buy this book, unless there is no other way to get sponsorship of good scientific meetings.
