When Trisha is abducted by a vampire and nearly dies, only Lorne, a vampire of The Dark League can rescue her. He gives her his blood, but this will make her one of his people. Sparks fly between them, but Lorne turns away from her. But when they finally find happiness together, she is abducted again, by the Renegades, enemies of the League.
Lorne believes the young woman, who he holds in his arms, doomed to die, but her soft plea to help her he can't resist. He makes her a vampire, but is determined, to leave her alone, even if she stirs his blood like no woman before.
