โฆ Synopsis
A patient with Hodgkin's disease (Stage IIB) was given nitrogen mustard shortly after diagnosis and has survived, without recurrence, for more than 5 years.
HFhfOTHERAPY FOR CANCER IS OFTEN OF C palliative benefit but is only rarely curative. Single-agent chemotherapy4, 5 , 9 has achieved cure rates of more than 60y0 in the treatment of women with trophoblastic tumors and has achieved long-term remissions in the treatment of Burkitt's African lymphoma: this may amount to cure in more than 20% of patients with localized tumors.
