✦ Synopsis


S u m m a r y . We present a long term evaluation o f 100 high valgus tibial osteotomies with a mean follow up o f 11 years. Knees with slight or moderate osteoarthritis had the best results. Slight overcorrection was beneficial, but gross overcorrection was not. There were f e w complications and the overall long term results were good.

terme de cent ostbotomies de valgisation de l'extrbmitb supbrieure du tibia, avec un recul moyen de 11 ans. Ce sont les genoux atteints d'arthrose minime ou modbrbe qui ont eu les meilleurs rksultats. Les hypercorrections lbgkres ont btb bbnbfiques mais non les hypercorrections excessives. I1 n'y a eu que peu de complications et dans l'ensemble les rbsultats h long terme ont btd bons.
