✦ Synopsis

Effects of long-range Coulomb interaction on the dynamics of the phase fluctuation in the quasi ID incommensurate CDW systems are studied in both the absence and presence of the Fermi surface for the non-hydrodynamic and hydrodynamic regimes of electrons. The Coulomb-screening by electrons is shown to effect the spectrum and damping of the phason strongly.
