โฆ Synopsis
Photwxcitation of distance restricted triads consisting of zinc porphyrin (ZnP), free-base porphyrin (HP), and pyromellitimide (Im) at 532 urn in THF at room temperature led to long-lived charge separated states (ZnP)+-H2P-(Im)-with a lifetime of 0.16-80 ps via electron transfer from the ' (H2P)* to the Im followed by electron transfer from the ZnP to the (H,P)+. The lifetime of ( ZnP)+-H2P-( Im)-state is dependent upon distances between the charges and the stnxtures of linkage between the ZnP and HZP.
