โœฆ Synopsis

A new class of logical derivative and integral operators on sal and cal functions are introduced with a view to develop an analogy between the well known classical derivative and integral operators in the frequency domain and the new logical operators in the sequency domain. Matrix representation of these operators are obtained and their symmetry properties studied. A few typical input waveforms are derived by these operators, and corresponding outputs are obtained to examine the behaviour of the operators. In conclusion, the use of these operators for sequency filtering is discussed.

In this paper, we investigate the possibility of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Operations Research (OR) techniques for solving the Crew Rostering Problem (CRP). CRP calls for the optimal sequencing of a given set of duties into rosters satisfying a set of constraints. The optimality c
