Purpose: To investigate changes in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) indices following formalin fixation of postmortem multiple sclerosis (MS) cortical gray matter (CGM). Postmortem MS brain is being used to establish pathological correlates of changes detected using MRI, with recent emphasis on CGM.
