Flux flow noise is investigated on niobium foils with isolated pinning structures such as a single grain boundary or a sample edge. Local analysis of the associated electric noise field in the sample shows that noise due to fluctuations of vortex velocity originates at these pinning structures. The local dependence of the noise field is described with a model using statistically independent electric noise dipoles.
