We present a formal calculation of the infrared singularity structure of the fermion propagator in QED based on the Faddeev-Kulish asymptotic solution. The Renormalization program is reviewed in the context of the BPHZ subtraction scheme and a refinement of the Renormalization group methods is emplo

✦ Synopsis
Orthogonal coordinate systems with helical geometry are constructed in euclidean 3-space and the Schriidinger equations in these coordinate systems are obtained. Of the two helical coordinate systems discussed, the external system consists of flat surfaces while the internal system consists of surfaces of constant Gaussian curvature. A singular cylinder separates these two systems.

We analyse some redefinitions of the energy-momentum tensor of Classical Electrodynamics. Usually it has been considered as a necessary and sufficient criterion for redefining the energymomentum tensor that the new tensor yields the "true" equation of motion of the electron, that is, the Lorentz-Di
