β¦ Synopsis
Welcome to The Future.
It sucks.
There are no flying cars, but there are flying robots that want to sell you crap. And mutant cockroaches. And talking, exploding squirrels. Then there are the superstorms....
And there's a politician who kills a hooker just by having sex with her, unleashing a parasite that changes people into monsters.
What's even stranger is that one journalist feels like he knows something about these creatures...just a tickle in the back of his mind.
Now he's reporting from the New York City ZoneLive, From The End Of The World.
Praise for William Vitka:
"There is a bold new voice howling in the post-apocalyptic wasteland..." - Jonathan Maberry, New York Times best-selling author of ASSASSIN'S CODE and DUST & DECAY -
"Charmingly perverse, vivid and thrilling." - Cherie Priest, award-winning author of BONESHAKER and GANYMEDE
"[Live, From The End Of The World] is one of the best zombie stories I've read this year. Actually, it's one of the best stories I've read this year, period. It's funny, offensive, irreverent and action-packed ... If you're a zombie fan who is losing faith, [Live, From The End Of The World] will give you the warm fuzzies all over again." - Hellnotes.com
"Mr. Vitka is a hard-nosed writer with a hard-nosed tale to tell. From the opening sentence, which describes a totally deranged councilman having intercourse with a dead prostitute's skull, to the bleak, yet satisfying ending, we are treated to colorful hard-drinking, foul-mouthed characters ... Well done, Mr. Vitka. I will be anticipating your future sleazy pulp endeavors." - HorrorNews.net
"Vitka's ability to stick to the facts and a darkly jaded worldview combine to make [Live, From The End Of The World] a book that will stick with you long after you've read it. I would strongly recommend that you do not attempt to match the main character drink for drink as you read, however--that way lies madness and liver disease." - NeedCoffee.com
