Tasked with shutting down SMERSH-agent Mr. Big's lucrative smuggling operation, British secret agent James Bond's investigation takes him to the lush, tropical island of Jamaica. Surrounded by ancient voodoo rites, Bond is once again thrust head-first into danger as he races against time to rescue the beautiful Solitaire and deal a decisive blow to SMERSH's fortunes.
Live and Let Die is the second novel in the James Bond spy series. It was adapted for the 1973 film of the same name starring Roger Moore as James Bond.
