✦ Synopsis

Abstract

A new abscisic acid derivative, named litseaglutinan A (1), and a new arylnaphthalene‐type lignan, (7′S,8__R__,8′S)‐4,4′,9‐trihydroxy‐3,3′,5‐trimethoxy‐9′‐Oβ‐D‐xylopyranosyl‐2,7′‐cyclolignan (2), were isolated from the AcOEt extract of Litsea glutinosa, together with nine known lignans. Their structures were established by spectroscopic methods.
