Lithiation behaviour of one of iron (III)-vanadium (V) complex oxides, FeVO , was investigated, focusing an attention 4 on its redox nature and structural changes upon lithiation. It was revealed that lithiation of FeVO occurs through three steps.

4 Primary single phase lithiation occurs at 0 , x , 0.3. Further lithiation causes a formation of LiFeO and presumably VO , 2 2 and VO will be further reduced.
