✦ Synopsis

First ten stories for the short story reading group on /lit/.

Please note that the only version of "The Puligist at Rest" that I could find online was a fairly high-quality PDF scan. It would need OCR in order to be properly converted to epub/azw3, but since I was not confident that it would turn out flawless I instead embedded it in the epub/azw3 file as compressed PNGs. If you feel like the quality is not up to your standards, I urge you to look for another way of reading this story. -anon

Stories included:
FIRST LOVE – VLADIMIR NABOKOV
BREAKFAST – JOHN STEINBECK
A SMALL, GOOD THING – RAYMOND CARVER
BARTLEBY, THE SCRIVENER – HERMAN MELVILLE
THE PUGILIST AT REST – THOM JONES
AN OCCURRENCE AT OWL CREEK BRIDGE – AMBROSE BIERCE
THE OVERCOAT – NIKOLAI GOGOL
THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON– F. SCOTT FITZGERALD
A LITTLE FABLE – FRANZ KAFKA
LE HORLA – GUY DE MAUPASSANT
