"This investment once again underscores the market-leading position of Johns Manville in the HVAC air filtration industry," said Christian Hassmann, business leader Filtration, Johns Manville. "The decision was based on increased demand as the industry recognize the value of the consistent, high-performance filtration media." MICRO-AIRE is an air filtration media for pocket filters used in heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The media is made from polyester spunbond coated with glass microfibers. Significant capacity expansions for MICRO-AIRE are also planned in North America for late 2007.
