✦ Synopsis

Linear polyesters and copolyesters, characterized by the presence along the polymer chain of azomethine groups between aromatic tings and linear flexible spacers based on sebacic acid, have been studied. The structure of the bisphenolic components on the breadth of the mesomorphic interval has been indicated.
