✦ Synopsis

Indirect detection and high-performance liquid chromatographic separation of azacrown compounds, such as 1-aza-15-crown-5 and 1,7-dioxa-4,10,13-triazacyclopentadecane, were studied. The indirect detection reagent used was ␣-naphthalene sulfonic acid. The elution behaviors of the azacrown compounds on a -Bondapak phenyl column with varying pH and different methanol and ␣-NSA concentrations were also elucidated.
