โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
The absorption of water, isooctane, methanol and ethanol into a sheet molding compound (SMCโR30) at room temperature is studied. The absorption behaviors are shown to be Fickian, with constant diffusion coefficients. Desorption of methanol and ethanol soaked specimens causes considerable surface cracking.

## Abstract Bonding and bolting strengths of a sheet molding compound (SMCโR30) are investigated. Epoxy adhesives are found to give good bonding strength. Surface pretreatment does not affect bond strength. Artificial weathering has practically no effect upon bond strength. Bolting strength depends
