✍ L. M. Brown πŸ“‚ Article πŸ“… 1961 πŸ› John Wiley and Sons 🌐 English βš– 804 KB

## Abstract The behaviour of charged dislocations oscillating in mobile charged clouds in ionic crystals is discussed. It is shown how such dislocations can affect the mechanical and electrical properties of these crystals. The magnitude of the line charge is calculated, and compared with experimen

Linear and nonlinear dust lattice waves
✍ B Farokhi; P.K Shukla; N.L Tsintsadze; D.D Tskhakaya πŸ“‚ Article πŸ“… 1999 πŸ› Elsevier Science 🌐 English βš– 61 KB

Linear and nonlinear studies of dust lattice waves in a dusty plasma crystal have been carried out on the basis of the Schrodinger equation which is deduced from Poisson's equation for small dust grain potentials. The spatial distribution of αΊ—he potential in the dust-lattice includes the effect of t

## Abstract The occurrence of electrical signals at the surfaces of oscillating NaCl single crystals is shown to be connected with the breakaway of dislocations from weak pinning points. Assuming that these pinning points are positive ion vacancies, their binding energy for dislocations is found to
