✦ Synopsis

Infrared spectra of 16 O 3 have been recorded in the 4250 cm 01 region with a Fourier transform spectrometer, at 0.008 cm 01 resolution, using a White-type cell ᐉ Å 36.16 m filled with 42.8 Torr O 3 . This spectral region corresponds to the 3n 1 / n 3 band, which has never been observed before. The assignment of this band has been performed up to J Å 43 and K a Å 13. To correctly reproduce the obtained energy levels of (301), it has been necessary to introduce the (230) dark state, interacting with (301) through Coriolis resonance. With the Hamiltonian for these two vibrational states, the fit on the 282 energy levels results in the RMS Å 1.8 1 10 03 cm 01 , on the order of the experimental precision. Line intensities of the 3n 1 / n 3 are measured and calculated. We report here the set of molecular parameters and transition moment constants. A complete list of line positions and intensities with the cutoff of 1 1 10 026 cm 01 /moleculercm 02 at 295 K up to J Å 55 and K a Å 17 has been generated, covering the region 4170 -4265 cm 01 .

Using a Fourier transform spectrometer, we have recorded the spectra of ozone in the region of 4600 cm 01 , with a resolution of 0.008 cm 01 . The strongest absorption in this region is due to the n 1 / n 2 / 3n 3 band which is in Coriolis interaction with the n 2 / 4n 3 band. We have been able to a
