Backed into a corner, for the sake of survival, Emma couldn't do anything more and was forced abandon her town, no matter how much she hated it. Together with her sister, her only remaining family, her friend Chase and some companions willing to leave town with them to avoid being held hostage, they left everything behind.
Emma has lost her beloved grandmother, and her home, and gone on the run. She wondered if she could still find happiness after all she'd been through, but as long as the option was there, she would chose it and fight for it fiercely. She's willing to try a new life, and with it, new romance.
On the road, she meets betrayal and new enemies. Also new friends, new loss, and possibility for a new family, a new life. And Emma is going to guard it with all she's got.
