Abstraet--A calorimetric study was made of micelle formation by a polystyrene-b-polyisoprene block copolymer in n-hexadecane which is a selectively bad solvent for polystyrene. A value of -44.0 + 4.0 kJ mol-~ was obtained for the enthalpy of micellisation, in good agreement with a value of -40.7 +2.

The thermodynamics of micelle formation by a polystyrene-b-polyisoprene block copolymer in n-hexadecane, which is a selectively bad solvent for polystyrene, has been investigated. The temperature dependence of the critical micelle concentration (c.m.c.) was determined from measurements of scattering
## Abstract A size exclusion chromatography study of the micellar system polystyreneβ__block__βpoly(methyl methacrylate) in the mixed solvent 1,4βdioxane/cyclohexane is reported. Good separation of the peaks of micelles enabled direct determination of the weightβaverage molecular weights of micelle
