โฆ Synopsis
The conference series is the superposition of two coherent series whose sources originated in Amsterdam (1995) and Bremen (1996). It covers all aspects of single and multiple light scattering by non-spherical particles.
Following the series format, ample time for discussions were scheduled during the oral and poster sessions, providing an informal atmosphere, much like that of a workshop. During these discussions experts working in different areas were encouraged to discuss their problems and pursue new collaborations. All sessions of the conference took place in the conference hall of the hotel, and former palace, ''Znamenka''. The meeting included 12 sessions consisting of 6 invited lectures and 34 oral talks.
