✦ Synopsis
Ultra-pure In203 powder has a band gap of 2.5 + 0.2 eV as derived from reflectance spectroscopy_ The conduction band position of these particks in aqueous dispersion was determined by a photoelectrochemical method and was found to change with pH according to &b(hIzo$ = iO.23 -0.059 pH (V, NHE). Photogeneration of osygcn is observed in the presence of Ag* ion as electron acceptor.
