β¦ Synopsis
A light-addressable potentiometric sensor (LAPS) has recently been proposed as a pH sensor. A LAPS description is presented that is suitable for direct applications as a built-in model in circuit-simulation programs, such as SPICE. The model equations describing the LAPS behaviour have been formulated by modelling the electrolyte-insulator interface via site-binding theory, and by modelling, via semiconductor 'theory, the insulator-semiconductor structure under the photogeneration effects induced by an externally addressed light. Simulation results are presented, focused on the analysis of the detection of transient acidification phenomena.

We report Monte Carlo simulations of chemical potentials on short ranging primitive models (PM) of water due to Nezbeda and co-workers. Since WidomΓs test particle method fails for network forming PM water, we simulate chemical potentials by gradual particle insertion. From chemical potential versus
An array of 12288 pixels with light sensors in a-si:H thin-film technology on a glass plate is described. An electronic circuit with a-Si:H-TFTs as switches in each pixel evaluates the grey shade of the light hitting the pixels. Colour filters allow detection of colours. The array of sensors is used
