25 compounds qualified
P arker has obtained NORSOK M-710 qualification for 25 polymer compounds intended for applications in the oil and gas industry.
The range of material compounds for this market includes Nitrile Rubber (NBR), Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber (HNBR), Carboxylated Nitrile Rubber (XNBR) and Fluorocarbons (FKM, FFKM), Polyetheretheketones (PEEK) and Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) formulations. Parker seal material compounds developed from these polymer groups have been qualified against NORSOK M-710 rapid gas decompression (RGD) and sour gas test. The testing was conducted by MERL Ltd.
