A heavy particle is lifted from the bottom of a channel in a plane Poiseuille flow when the Reynolds number is larger than a critical value. In this paper we obtain correlations for lift-off of particles in Oldroyd-B fluids. The fluid elasticity reduces the critical shear Reynolds number for lift-of
