Life table estimates of intrinsic rate of natural increase (r) were used to assess chronic toxicity of Kepone to the copepod Euryternora affinis (Poppe). The acute toxicity (48-h LC 50) was determined to be 40/~g 1-1 (95% CL 33.9-47.2). A reduction in r was observed at all concentrations above 5/~g
