โฆ Synopsis
The orphan Priloe and his sister Milenette are looking for a new place to live. Having run into the swash-buckling hero Liam Hoffen, Priloe wonders why in the world anyone would give up his family to go careening around the stars as the privateer Hoffen has.
On a chance encounter with Hoffen's mother, Silver, Priloe is given opportunity to visit the Hoffen family asteroid mining operation. It's a chance of a lifetime and he seizes on it. Unfortunately, trouble is never far away and Priloe finds himself drug into a mystery at an abandoned mining claim.
In the end, he'll have to make hard decisions that may well separate him from the family he's always wanted as the life of another hangs in the balance.
Life of a Miner was originally conceived, written and released one chapter at a time on Jamie's blog, where even he wasn't sure how the story would end up. It's a quick read that I'm sure you'll enjoy.
