Meanwhile, Clariant completed the acquisition of Ciba's masterbatch assets towards the end of last year, including plants in France, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, with about 300 employees in total and annual sales revenue of just under SFR 2 M. Mr Secher said: "This acquisition fits into Clariant's strategy of expanding its number one market positions, and driving growth in our service-driven businesses."
