✦ Synopsis
V-V cncrgy trxnsfcr from a la~ugc molecule cvcltcd to vlbrahonal cnerg~cs of chemical mtcrcst has been demonstrated by detection of -1.5% yield of C02(001) due to energy transfer from azukne (&,h = 30600 cm-'). Also, the avcrage cncrgy lost per collision by azulene vas measured as a funclion ofEv,b, and the rate constant for C&(001) dcxtrvation by azulenc was dclcrmmed.
