β¦ Synopsis
Absorption. fluorescence. fhmrescence-excatation and two-photon excrtation (WE) spectra of the trans dimer of acenaphthylene at 77 K are reported. The fluorescence spectrum in n-octane mdicates the presence of two or@s at 31125 and 31055 cm-' ansmg from "mtramolecuk ewiton spbttmg", and due respectwzly to the u-and g-excltonic states.
