The announcement by Professors Watson and Swift of the discovery of several intra-Mercurial planets during the late solar eclipse, is of such importance tliat the following letters of these astrnnomers will be read with interest. Tlic letters give the detailed reports of the discoveries, and will not be essentially altered by future reductions.
