โฆ Synopsis
You may or may not have noticed that Mass Spectrometry Reviews has reached a major milestone with the publication of the 25th volume. Both we, the present members of the Editorial Board, and you the readers, owe special thanks to those who have contributed to the success and growth of the journal. In particular, special recognition should be reserved for the person who had the vision to anticipate the growth of the field and the need for a journal that would serve future generations of members of the mass spectrometry community. We are grateful to Professor George Waller, now a Professor Emeritus at Oklahoma State University for having had that vision and are pleased to share with you in the following letter his thoughts and reminiscences about the starting of the journal and his involvement in the early years of mass spectrometry and its applications.
