The electromagnetic form factor of deuteron is calculated here on the basis of a model of hadrons which incorporates a particular lepton-hadron relation. In view of this model, the pionic electromagnetic form factor is found to be the main contributing factor and when double scattering effect as envisaged by Glauber is taken into account, the results are found to be in nice agreement with experiments. 420
