โฆ Synopsis
Leiomyosarcoma is a malignant tumor which rarcly occurs in the rectum. Three patients with leiomyosarcoma of the rectum are presented. Treatmcnt should include wide surgical cxcision followed by adjuvant chemotherapy. Emphasis is placed upon computerized tomography as the method of choice for the diagnosis of recurrent disease. Recurrent tumor should be resected whenever possible.
