✦ Synopsis
the elephant'. Heredity is the biochemistry of DNA and with the increasing evidence showing that the predisposition to mania, schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease is linked to specific chromosome regions that are also associated with the control of key enzymes in proteins synthesis, it is not beyond the bounds of reason to believe that relatively simple organisms may help the neurobiologist to understand the neurochemical basis of psychiatric disease.
In conclusion, this is an exciting text that deserves a wide readership. It is well produced, clearly illustrated and well referenced. Even in these days of an overvalued DM the price is reasonable. I warmly recommend this text to basic and clinical neuroscientists like.
