โœฆ Synopsis

Endoluminal repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is an alternative to conventional surgery'. Reports from several centres2,' have demonstrated the feasibility of this technique but its durability remains unknown. This report describes a patient in whom endoluminal grafting failed after 1 year due to progression of the aneurysmal process at the aortic bifurcation. Failure to halt the dilating process may have serious implications for the long-term durability of endoluminal aortic aneurysm repair.
