✦ Synopsis

m_e PH radical has been detected by laser magnetic resonance spectroscopy at 118.6 urn in the rextion products when hydrogen atoms were passed aver red phosphorus. The spectra have been identified 3s the N = 4 4 S rotational trsnsition in the pound 'E-state and J' = 4 -+ 5 transition in the .'A state. The hyperfine constants for the 'A state are np = 775 MHz and uH = 28 MHz.
