โฆ Synopsis
Highly selective isotope sepnintion of deuterium hns been denonstrnted in laser-tiradintcd formaldehyde mixtures of H,CO and HDCO. Single step deuteriurn enrichment factors of 14 lvere achieved by photodissociation iato HD and CO, using H&d laser light at 325.03 nm. Lnitial deutcrium concentration ranged from 0.015 mole percent (natural abundance) to 5 mole percent.
