โœฆ Synopsis

Laser-induced dissociation of an anharmonic oscillator coupled to a quantum heat bath has been studied. A time-dependent self-consistent field approach has been used in order to solve the time-dependent Schrrdinger equation. The quantum heat bath consists of a set of harmonic oscillators and the dissociation probability of the anharmonic oscillator has been calculated as a function of the number of harmonic oscillators, the coupling strengths and the temperature of the heat bath.
