โœฆ Synopsis

The fluorescence spectrum of lodme was mvestigated from 200 to 520 run m the presence and absence of buffer gases following excitation of Iz with 193 nm photons. The pressure dependence of the fluorescence and tentative transitlon assignments for one new and several less well-known 12 ernlssion bands are dlscussed.

The fluorescence of diatomic telkrium vapor excited by the 4417-i line of the He/Cd" laser has been aaslgned. In 13%?e2, excitation is to II series is observed upon addition of helium. ' = 5, J' = 103. Rotational broadening of the xesonance 1 \_ INTRODUCTION 3. RESULTS \* N.I.H. Predoctoral FeiIok,
