โœฆ Synopsis

The performance of the processes of electrodeposition can be considerably improved with aid of laser beam . The aim of this paper is to report the results of a comprehensive investigation of laser-assisted electrodeposition of zinc onto a zinc surface, which is known to be a troublesome example of metal deposition . The influence of various operating conditions, -power of pulsed YAG laser, concentration of electroactive species and electrode potential-on cell current and on deposit morphology is investigated . The data are interpreted in terms of heat transfer and photophysics .

Electroluminescence (EL) measurements of nitride-rich GaN 1--x P x single quantum well (SQW) structures, grown using laser-assisted metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (LA-MOCVD), were performed. The maximum red shift of GaN 1--x P x to the GaN was 50 meV from the result of photoluminescence (PL)
